I guess I could try MacPorts but idk if that would be any better than homebrew. I think someone posted about this approx 75 days ago, but I tried all the fixes on that post already and nothing works. Specifically, my error when I try to run the hello world file is Ĭollect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status I tried the downloadable package ( ), installing it via homebrew, and using Xcode and the Xcode command line developer tools, and I keep getting the error "library not found." When I do "which gcc" or "which gfortran" I get a response, so it's definitely installed. ![]() However, I have Mac Monterey and I've tried multiple methods of installing gfortran and gcc and nothing has worked. I need Fortran for my summer internship, so I'm trying to get ahead of it.
