Most of the tools for MIDI to audio you find online will use the same method (Look for FFT) to convert the samples into frequencies and then try to do something with that info. I’ve seen Sibelius do that alright but you would need to edit the transcribed MIDI by hand and add the midi conventions that the transcribing software would expect (CC messages, quantizing,etc). ![]() Music notation is another realm that doesn’t have accurate midi to notation results. It lets you export the content into midi and works well most of the time. Melodyne, although for vocals mostly, is the most accurate audio transcription software I’ve seen.
